"There is an incredible healing power within each of us that knows exactly what and where each of our ailments is and knows exactly what to do to correct them."

- Have you been told over and over again that there's nothing wrong with you or that there is little to nothing that can be done to help you?
- Are you tired of covering up symptoms without ever having the root of the problem(s) addressed?
The potential uses for Kinesiology are endless. It is most often used to find and correct imbalances in an individual body that can lead to dis-ease processes, but it can also assist in making healthy life decisions. There are numerous possible therapies for every imbalance, and this is where kinesiology excels. Ultimately, there will not be two same therapies for the same imbalance.
Kinesiology is the ultimate in prevention as it can balance and even neutralize the patterns of susceptibility and tendency before they express themselves as symptoms. For advanced, chronic imbalances, kinesiology can not only be used to address symptoms but also to help provide real physical and emotional relief.
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a marriage between the physiology of the nervous system and the holistic functioning of the human organism. In the simplest of terms, it allows you to speak to the body. Going a little deeper, it is a neurological test for evaluating the body's electromagnetic potentials through the nervous system. Being an electrical system, the nervous system has positive and negative flows. It creates a measurable electromagnetic field around it, and it can be shorted out just like the electrical systems in our homes.
The Chinese systems of electrical energy flow are called meridians. The eastern medical practitioners have paved the way for kinesiology by literally mapping out the electrical highways of the body. Kinesiology makes great use of the meridian flow pathways. If electrical energy is not flowing properly to an organ, body system, muscle or joint, the imbalance can be detected through this testing of the nervous system. It sounds simplistic, but it is very profound, valuable and accurate information.
A brief definition of Muscle Testing:
A bit of a misnomer, muscle testing is actually not about muscle strength. It is a nervous system response. The objective of muscle testing is to retrieve a reliable yes/no to information about physical, emotional or energetic conditions. The procedure is to use a firm, brief push against an indicator muscle, and then to gauge how quickly and firmly it responds to this test. Muscle responses change instantly in reaction to environmental and other introduced factors.
Get to the bottom of what's happening in your body - it's waiting and able to tell you what it needs. Whether your desire is prevention, tackling a known issue, or simply finding out why you don't feel right, Whole Body Wellness offers a personalized program for you!
The cost is $85 for your first session (1.5 hours), and follow-ups are $59 for 1 hour or $30 for 1/2 hour. Ask about my multiple-session discount.
Surrogate testing is available. If you want to be tested but are unable to physically go through the muscle testing procedure, bring someone with you to be used as a "surrogate." This is also a helpful technique when working with children.
"Over a year ago I went through the illness and death of my partner. During this time I was working full time and providing daily caregiving. I attribute my ability to get through the year without getting ill of falling apart to regular visits with Daphne. The use of kinesiology and energy work, when needed, kept me going through this very hard time."
